Six Step Process

Maria’s 6 Step Wellness for Life Process will help you focus on your success, learn about daily habits and behavioral change, become accountable, discover whole-health nutrition, develop exercise and activity choices to fit your lifestyle and measure successes, both on and off the scale. Support is vital for you to succeed!

1. MINDSET—Shift What’s On The Inside First

Mindset is everything. I have discovered that whether I believed in myself and WHY I wanted to live a healthier lifestyle made a huge difference in me reaching my goals. I’ll help you find your WHY and adopt a positive outlook so there are no limits to what you can achieve.

2. EDUCATION—Fuel For Thought

Get-thin-quick fad diets and dictated meal plans don’t work. That’s why I teach you a sustainable, practice-based approach to build healthy habits around nutrition, sleep, stress-management, attitude and overall healthy living. We’ll focus on strategic daily practices to achieve your goals. The key is PROGRESS NOT PERFECTION. Every step forward gets you closer to your goal.

3. ACCOUNTABILITY—Support And Encouragement

Trying to do this yourself is incredibly tough. You probably already know that! That’s why having someone to support and guide you—someone who has been in your shoes—is the best investment you can make for yourself. As your coach, I’ll provide accountability, direction, and support every step of the way. Together, we will build a foundation that can help you accomplish your goals.

4. NUTRITION—Learning To Power A Healthy Body

Many diets out there will provide you results. BUT, the truth is that getting skinny quick is rarely the healthiest way to care for your body, and diets only lead to chronic overeating. When we work together, you will learn a proven, habit-based nutrition program where you’re empowered to make choices and learn how to overcome the emotional obstacles associated with unhealthy eating.

5. ACTIVITY—Movement For Progress

Physical activity includes all movement. You don’t have to spend hours on a treadmill or at the gym. I’ll teach you how to match your exercise to your nutrition using a simple formula that only requires 2 to 3 percent of your week.

6. SUCCESS—A Sustainable Healthy Lifestyle!

When I started my weight loss journey I was full of fear and overwhelmed. I was afraid of facing my stress without my crutch (food), looking stupid in the gym (I literally drove around the parking lot 3 times before I went in), ignoring the rest of my life, not succeeding and never gaining control.
